We work with you to articulate the core technical hypothesis and define measurable success criteria. What does the system need to do? What throughput, latency, accuracy, or cost targets must be met? What regulatory or compliance constraints apply? These criteria become the evaluation framework for every architectural option we assess.

Technical Investigation

Architecture exploration across multiple approaches, evaluating trade-offs between build complexity, operational cost, time-to-market, and long-term maintainability. Where critical assumptions are uncertain, we build targeted proof-of-concept prototypes to validate them - testing API integrations, benchmarking model performance, or stress-testing database configurations.

Risk & Cost Analysis

Identification of technical risks ranked by probability and impact, estimation of development costs across team configurations, and projection of ongoing infrastructure and operational expenses. We model multiple scenarios - optimistic, realistic, and worst-case - so you can make investment decisions with a clear understanding of the range of outcomes.

Step 04

Recommendation Report

A comprehensive document with our recommendation, supporting evidence, alternative approaches considered and why they were rejected, and a proposed implementation plan with phased milestones. If our recommendation is not to proceed, we explain why and suggest alternative approaches that might achieve your underlying objective.
